Well, I brought the "Blackberry" boat and trailer home that was talked
about on the Discussion Board, to my place. I've seen worse for restoration..
The cockpit has a cutout for an escape door and a crudely made door
(nice latch though) and the engine compartment bottom has been cut out
(I could plant a tree in it for yard art).
Ron Jones, Sr. states that it was originally built as a drag
boat for someone in CA in 1977 (don't know if it ever saw water with one).
It could have been built to possibly promote Panther
Jet out-drive company. I have the drawing.

it with.
Of course, there has been some modifications like the re-inforced cockpit.....and
tail angle.....and size......and possibly sponson changes.
