motor 6 cyliner modified 1960 Ford Falcon 144 ci - 200+ uncorrected HP.
stock 2.5" stroke and .055" overbore. Cylinder head has intake log and exhaust flanges cut off and a 1" thick plate manufactured to fit head and three custom wye manifolds to mount three 42mm Dellorto Carbs w/ remote float bowls modified for Methanol fuel. Cylinder head has been ported & relieved to enhance intake and exhaust flow and milled to increase compression. Stock fuel pump used to pressurize the fuel tank. Stock Ford distributor is locked and Bendix Scintilla points mounted with flat wire helper spring. The underside of the lifter bosses have been machined to accomodate locking plates for the roller lifters for the custom ground Engle roller camshaft and kit. Rods are stock and bushed and drilled for ¾ 396 Chevrolet rod bolts and are fitted with Mickey Thompson forged aluminum high compression pistons. Stock aluminum oil pump has been replaced with a Melling cast iron pump. Oil pan custom made with windage tray & baffles.
Previously the engine was a highly modified 1937 Ford V8/60
