The Antique Raceboat  Regatta is hosted by The Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, New York. This museum is situated on the St. Lawrence Seaway. The museum was established on the grounds of a dilapidated boat works company in 1971 and then the old lumberyard adjacent to the property was added in 1974. The trustees have steadily added property and buildings so that the museum currently covers two acres of waterfront, nine buildings and four off-site storage facilities. All these new buildings have been built to house the ever inceasing collection of Antique & Historic boats. This backdrop makes for a great location to see these old racing hulls of yesteryear. The Antique Race Boat Regatta event has been held every even numbered year since it's beginning in 1992. If you never attended this regatta, and you love old race boats, this is a must see event.
