Ignition - 2, four-cylinder Wico magnetos driven by a Barker V-drive off the camshaft. Alcohol running through two #97 Stromberg carbs on top of a early square script Edelbrock intake. Motor built, ported, polished and blueprinted by Rich Willim of Detroit, Michigan. |

| Bob Baxter of Maryland commissioned Henry Lauterbach to build the 136
class hydro in 1959. Campaigned the hull as GAIL. Later, Ford Falcon
145 CID replaced V8-60.
Roger D'Eath bought it and renamed PSSST! A-5, but later renamed it back to Bachelor One A-5. 1969 Orange Bowl Regatta winner. About 1971 Roger sold it to Huey Long of Kentucy, who with his son Mark, raced it as Bachelor One A-5. Current owner acquired it from Tom D'Eath in 1996. |
