Most of this stuff &#8212; you may not notice any real changes on. My hope is to have webpages look correct between photos and text and it shouldn&#8217;t depend on whether you are viewing the websites with a cell phone or a 65&#8243; TV monitor. I&#8217;ve noticed many of the pages on the website had the text &amp; photos &#8216;splattered&#8217; all over the monitor with no rhyme or reason or had text scrolling across the entire width of the monitor which makes reading a real challenge. I don&#8217;t website build for a living&#8230;just fun, so I guess I am living and learning this stuff the hard way (my usual route, do it wrong the first time, then spend gobs of time fixing my mistakes).<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Photo Albums<\/strong> section is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/albums\/photoalbums.html\">done<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The former Boats section &amp; Owner&#8217;s Directory have been <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/boats\/directory.html\">combined<\/a>. Now it&#8217;s just called <strong>boats<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Official Race Programs<\/strong> section is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/race_programs\/regatta_past.html\">done<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>vintage events &amp; reports<\/strong> is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/events\/2000_events\/1998_2010_past_events.html\">done<\/a>. These are webpages on past vintage regattas from 1998 through 2010.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Drivers, Owners &amp; Builders<\/strong> section is removed. That data was consolidated into other areas of the website, mainly viewer&#8217;s <strong>photo albums<\/strong> or put in the <strong>boats<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n<li>The monthly <strong>Calendars<\/strong> section is done. You shouldn&#8217;t notice any changes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/calendar\/2012_00_calendar.html\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Photos from a Moment<\/strong> section is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/photo_from_a_moment\/photoofthemomenttable.html\">done<\/a>. Same thing, you shouldn&#8217;t notice any real changes.<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>Models<\/strong> section is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/models\/models.html\">done<\/a>. Same deal, nothing new just all the webpages cleaned up &amp; fixed.<\/li>\n<li><del>the <em>former <\/em>Latest Updates section has been replaced with this <a href=\"http:\/\/vintagehydroplanes.com\/Blog\/\">bulletin<\/a>.<\/del><\/li>\n<li>the <strong>APBA Vintage &amp; Historic<\/strong> section r&#8217;cd a little housekeeping &amp; is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/apba\/vintage_historic_division.html\">done<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>APBA History<\/strong> &#8211; new section on the website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/apba_history\/apba_history.html\">started<\/a>. I took the historical parts of the APBA and started this new section which consists of the speed records (all records were consolidated) and the articles\u00a0<strong>From the Vintage Notebook<\/strong> have a new table of contents to make finding articles easier and feature any of the &#8220;VINTAGE HOT BOAT of the MONTH&#8221; pics I had (wish I had more). The other 2 sections, <strong>Propeller Magazine<\/strong> scans from the early 1960s were cleaned up, as well as the <strong>Gulf Oil 100 MPH club<\/strong> member&#8217;s list of who achieved that goal.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Directory &#8211; racing folks<\/strong> &#8211; cleaned up &amp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/former_race_members.html\">updated<\/a>. We have 156 folks listed to date.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where are they now?<\/strong> &#8211; cleaned up &amp; all listings consolidated on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/where_are_they_now\/hmmmm.html\">one page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Racing Stories &#8211; current<\/strong> &#8211; all stories cleaned up &amp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/story_current\/current.html\">updated<\/a>. Hey folks, it&#8217;s been a long time since I posted a new story in this section. Maybe someone can author and write us a story to read over the winter. Any topic will do.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Racing Stories &#8211; Historical<\/strong> &#8211; all stories cleaned up &amp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/story_history\/historical.html\">updated<\/a>. Plus added one new &#8216;old&#8217; story.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technical Restoration Articles<\/strong> &#8211; all stories cleaned up &amp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/technical\/technical.html\">updated<\/a>. Plus added 2 new articles.<\/li>\n<li><strong>LINKS<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/links\/links.html\">cleanup<\/a> &amp; all dead links removed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sponsors<\/strong> &#8211; general <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintagehydroplanes.com\/sponsors\/sponsorship.html\">housecleaning<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Latest Updates<\/strong>&#8211; a couple of folks have asked that I bring back this section.
