Restoration

The restoration of Nordic has begun.
The cowlings, steering system, engine, prop shaft and associated hardware have been removed.
All of the old decking has been removed and repairs and sanding have begun.

Note offset of bore for prop shaft.

An assortment of home made scrapers.
Following the removal of the old decking, one must be prepared to do some scraping.
These "Custom Lauterbach Scrapers" will get the job done.

Bottom up, sanding begins.

Progress continues on Nordic, now right side up.
